But with Sutter's publishers needing the ending to publish the book, John Trent travels to New Hampshire to try to find the reclusive author and retrieve the completed manuscript. Assisted by editor Linda Styles (Julie Carmen) they wind up in the mysterious town of Hobb's End and straddle the worlds between reality and insanity as it seems Sutter's book it coming to life and Trent's the main character.
