In this animated feature, the BRPD must deal with a mysterious, haunted home where the spirit of Erzsebet Ondrushko (Kath Soucie) was vanquished supposedly in the 1940s by Prof. Trevor Broom Bruttenholm (John Hurt). The spirit wants to live again and plans to sell her soul to Hecate, who is a witch queen. The professor, along with Hellboy (Ron Perlman), Liz Sherman (Selma Blair), and Abe Sapien (Doug Jones), needs to solve this case and put this spirit out of commission for good. There is also a human metal detector, Sidney Leach (Rob Paulsen), involved. Much of the story is told in flashbacks.
