Lucy Kelson (Sandra Bullock) can't stand George Wade (Hugh Grant), he is the poster boy for the large greedy land developing Wade Corporation, which she detests and protests. When Wade is attempting to get a lucrative offer to build near the Coney Island Community Center, Lucy takes the bold move of going to Wade to offer help on getting the project in return for not destroying the community center. Wade has been looking for someone to take on as lead counsel for the company as his brother has mandated and Lucy fits the bill perfectly in his mind. The two end up spending the next year getting to know each other and Wade becomes incapable of making a decision without her. When Wade calls her out of her friend's wedding to help him decide what to wear to an event she decides that she has had enough and give her two week's notice. Can two people who are so different and yet so connected get on without each other is the question in 'Two Weeks' Notice'?
