"Desperado" continues the story of a musician with a mission. This time around the story finds our hero with a sore hand and a dead girlfriend. Looking for work, this marauding musician (Antonio Banderas) stumbles into a case of mistaken identity and must fight his way out. Along the way he meets a beautiful woman (Salma Hayek) and takes revenge on the local drug lord, personally showing him his guitar full of dirty tricks. Loosely based on the Westerns of years before, "Desperado" succeeds greatly at telling an entertaining story with little fluff and lots of good times.
