"Balls of Fury" is a slap-stick style comedy with amusing twists and a happy ending. Randy Daytona (Dan Fogler) was a child prodigy in the art of ping-pong until he lost an important ping-pong match to his rival, a German ping-pong fanatic named Karl Wolfschtagg (Thomas Lennon). Now Randy Daytona is an older washed-up out of shape loser who has kept his ping-pong skills sharp by working as an act in a Las Vegas type show. He is approached by Agent Ernie Rodriquez (George Lopez) to go undercover as a competitor in the "world-cup" of ping-pong, an invitation-only high stakes tournament put on by the mob boss who killed Randy's father, the mysterious Feng (Christopher Walken). Randy must be taught to control his anger and fear before the competition. His teacher is Master Wong (James Hong), who later turns out to be the original teacher of Randy's nemesis, Feng, and who has a beautiful granddaughter, Maggie Wong (Maggie Q), who becomes Randy's love interest and inspiration to beat the bad guys and his own inner demons.
