Fur belongs on animals, and the raccoons that trapper Pa Jameson (John Saxon) and his equally backwoods son Larry (Michal Suchanek) capture and skin will have their pound of flesh. The raccoons live in under a special spell, and the skinners may well be sorry for their action. After being promised how the pelts will make his dreams come true, Jake Feldman (Meat Loaf Aday), a small-time furrier, wants the pelts with such a dynamic sheen to use for a coat for a dancer named Shanna (Ellen Ewusie) whom he is trying to impress. Unfortunately for the Jamesons and Jake, these furs have a life of their own, as the previous owners plan to extract revenge for their mistreatment. The raccoons know that beauty is only skin deep.
